He tries to click on it, but he ends up pressing the whole mouse button down. The screen goes all wobbly, and I'm like, "Grandpa, just click on it, don't press it down!" He looks at me and says, "What's wobbly, sonny?" I'm like, "The screen, grandpa! It's not suped to wobble!" He tries again, and this time he clicks on the icon. The program opens up, and he's like, "Wow, sonny! Look at that! I did it!" I'm trying not to laugh, but I can't help it. "Yes, grandpa, you did it!" I say. "Now, let's try another one." We go through a few more programs, and he's getting the hang of it. But then, he decides to try something else. He clicks on the internet icon, and up comes a page full of ads and pop-ups. He's like, "What's this, sonny?" I'm like, "That's the internet, grandpa. It's a place where you can find rmation, watch videos, and talk to people." He looks at me and says, "Talk to people? How do I do that?" I'm like, "You just click on these icons here, and it'll connect you to people all over the world." He tries it, and suddenly, he's chatting with someone in Germany. I'm trying not to laugh, but I can't help it. "Grandpa, you're a star!" He looks at me and says, "What's a star, sonny?" I'm like, "You're the star, grandpa! You're the first person I know who's ever talked to someone in Germany!" And that's the story of my grandpa and his first time on the internet.
